Emma Corrin Praises Robert Eggers Ahead of Nosferatu Release and Marvel Debut

Emma Corrin is full of admiration for Nosferatu director Robert Eggers as the release of the vampire horror film approaches later this year.

Corrin expressed their high regard for Eggers while promoting Deadpool and Wolverine in London. They highlighted Eggers' genius and artistry, emphasizing how he brings together incredible ensembles of actors, making everyone feel part of a collaborative effort. The experience of working with him was described as a beautiful thing.

The film, featuring Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, and Bill Skarsgård as the iconic vampire, draws inspiration from F. W. Murnau's 1922 silent classic and Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula. Bill Skarsgård's portrayal of Count Orlok is expected to be a mix of grotesque and seductive as he targets the wife of his estate agent, inciting fear within their small town.

The supporting cast includes Simon McBurney as Herr Knock, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Friedrich Harding, Ralph Ineson as Dr. Wilhelm Sievers, and Willem Dafoe as Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz, a character similar to Van Helsing. Corrin reportedly plays a character named Anna Harding, who is the wife of Taylor-Johnson's Friedrich Harding.

Before appearing in Nosferatu, Corrin will portray Marvel villain Cassandra Nova in the upcoming superhero film Deadpool and Wolverine. This movie stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, and follows their characters as they team up to protect the friends and family of the Merc with a Mouth.

Nosferatu will premiere in US theaters on December 25 and will be released in the UK on January 3, 2025. For further information, you can check out various lists of the best horror movies ever made and the most anticipated upcoming horror films.
