Remedy, the Finnish game developer currently enjoying positive feedback from Alan Wake 2 (read our review here), is also working on a plethora of other projects. The company recently provided updates on some of them. Control 2, for instance, is in the proof-of-concept stage, with good progress being noted both in its designs and game build. Remedy's plans for the sequel to the 2019 third-person shooter are ambitious and will continue into the next few quarters.
Regarding the Max Payne Remake, Remedy states that it has moved into the production readiness stage. The team has a clear vision of the style and scope of the game and is confident about its future success.
Updates were also given on Condor, a cooperative multiplayer game, and Codename Vanguard. Condor has moved from proof-of-concept to production readiness while work on Codename Vanguard continues with publishing partner involvement as they aim to complete its proof-of-concept stage by year-end.
